To apply a large quantity of these substances to an area of clothing less than one hand span by one hand span, (Baalisht), and to wear such clothing for 12 hours or more.

Damm

To apply a small quantity of these substances to an area of clothing more than one hand span by one hand span, and to wear such clothing for less than 12 hours.

Damm

To apply a small quantity of these substances to an area of clothing less than one hand span by one hand span, and to wear such clothing for less than 12 hours.

Complete Sadaqah

To apply a large quantity of these substances on clothing covering an area more than one hand span by one hand span, and to wear such clothing for less than 12 hours.

Complete Sadaqah

For one Muhrim to apply these substances on the clothing of another Muhrim.

Damm on the person applied; major sin on the applier.
